Controlling interest acquired by GECAS in 2003. 31% to be acquired by Hong Kong's Victor T.K. Li through Cheung Kong Holdings Ltd/Trinity Time Investments, and up to 15% by Deutsche Bank in 2004 - plan cancelled 4/04. 9.2% acquired by Cerberus Capital Management LP (New York) in 2004. Emerged from Chapter 11 on 30/9/04 as the main subsidiary of holding company ACE Aviation. IPO during 2006Q4 for 25%. Parent company ACE Aviation sold all its shares in 11/12 to Cormak Securities and self-liquidated. Launched wholly-owned LCC named Rouge on 18/12/12 (qv).
