Moved to Hong Kong in 1937 after the Japanese invasion of mainland China, to Calcutta 1942-1945 then back to Shanghai in 1946. Became controlled by Chinese Air Force in 1948. Most of the fleet moved to Hong Kong in 1949. Ceased operations in 12/49 when 80% acquired by Chennault and Willauer (Flying Tiger) in 1949, other 20% acquired by Civil Air Transport in 1950. After lengthy court appeals most assets awarded to Civil AT in 1952.
