Stake purchased in 2006 by Saigontourist. Planned to re-launch itself during 2/07 as a budget low-cost carrier. 18% stake purchased by Jetstar via Qantas (announced 24/4/07, completed 31/7/07), (was to be increased to 49% by 2009). Re-branded Jetstar Pacific on 23/5/08 with Qantas' stake increased to 30% in 2010.
